Diffuze Inc. studio announced. on Wednesday that after 33 seasons, Beatrice Picard will no longer be Quebec’s voice for Marge Simpson.

COVID-19 has changed things for Ms. Picard. Since the pandemic, she says, “we’ve been alone in the studio, while we’ve had it before with our partner […] And we had a conversation.”
In addition, she says that at her age, it is more difficult to recover from viruses.
She says she doesn’t know what state she’ll be in if she waits another year, after reporting on living with the long-term effects of COVID.
“I don’t want to deprive viewers of their favorite show,” she said.
