As part of its strategic plan 2022-2027 “Inspire Connect Transform”, IÉSEG attaches importance to its international dimension. Thus, Lorena Zanelli was appointed Director of International Relations at the school. the goal? Ensuring the school's international influence, recruiting international students and developing programs in partnership with world-renowned institutions.

As of March 1, 2024, Lorena Zanelli will be entrusted with the responsibility of Director of International Relations at IÉSEG, thus joining the School Management Committee. She succeeds Antonio Giangreco, who, in addition to his duties as Director of International Programs, has responsibility for appropriations while continuing to serve as a member of the Management Committee.

Lorena Zanelli missions

Lorena Zanelli's main task will be to enhance the international attractiveness of IÉSEG's network of partner universities as well as its joint international programmes, in particular double and triple degrees. It will also expand the school's 'Internationalisation at Home' strategy, which is recognized as a standard of excellence through international accreditations and rankings.

Lorena Zanelli's journey

Lorena Zanelli has over 20 years of experience in international relations in higher education, both in France and abroad, and brings a strong background to her new role. Having established the Campus France office in Lima and holding responsible positions at the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris and the INSEEC School of Business and Economics, she has demonstrated diverse and in-depth experience in the field.

Lorena Zanelli shares her excitement for her new role, saying: “ I am pleased to take over the Directorate of International Relations at IÉSEG, because the school has deeply embedded this international dimension at all levels: in its teaching, which is taught entirely in English, on its campus, where more than 2,500 international students and more than 100 nationalities are welcomed, But also within teams, where more than 55 different nationalities come together. Everyone at IÉSEG shares this international and cosmopolitan state of mind. Above all, I want to consolidate our European and international influence, in line with our CSR strategy, and strengthen our internationalization and innovation strategy by relying on strategic alliances for the benefit of our students, professors and administrative teams.
