Like most smartphone brands, high-end models like the Series 13 will be the first to receive the update. Mid-range and entry-level mobile phones will benefit from it later.

Another important parameter relates to the release date of your smartphone and brand commitment to update your device to major versions of Android as well as security upgrades.

Xiaomi is not yet at the level of Samsung and Apple when it comes to tracking software. For its high-end models, the brand generally offers three years of major updates and four years of security updates. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said of Redmi and POCO which rarely go beyond two years of updating.
