The MAPAQ has issued a major recall of ground beef, which may contain metal particles.
MAPAQ has issued a recall regarding this meat sold at a Super C store in Beauharnois, Montérégie. The branch is located at 400 Edmour-Daoust Street.
The department is recommending the public not to eat the product targeted by the recall, namely lean, semi-lean, and lean beef packaged on June 6.
“The product subject of this warning was offered for sale on June 6, 2023, and only at the above-mentioned establishment. It was packaged in a styrofoam tray, covered with clear plastic wrap and presented in a refrigerator. In addition to its name, the product label included the words “Super C”, ”summarizes MAPAQ on its website.
Customers who purchased this product may discard it or return it to the point of purchase for an exchange or refund.
Fortunately, at the time of this writing, no injuries have been reported related to the consumption of this product.
