The violation resulted when the former president’s entourage desperately sought evidence of election fraud. According to testimony before the House Investigative Committee on January 6, the process was discussed in December 2020 during a meeting in the Oval Office.

CNN reported that the actions of attorneys Rudolph Giuliani and Sydney Powell are among those reviewed by Fannie Willis in this case. Giuliani’s lawyer told CNN that his client was not involved. “Rudy Giuliani had nothing to do with this case,” said Robert Costello. “You can’t associate Rudy Giuliani with the crazy idea of ​​Sidney Powell.”
