Espace Sofia unveils its annual program 2023-2024

Espace Sophia has revealed its new annual program 2023-2024, which promises to be colorful and varied, and which will attract a record number of spectators to the former church of Sainte-Sophie-d’Halifax, which serves as a multi-service center and cultural venue.

The organization also took advantage of the press conference at Espace Sophia to present its new brand image, which aims to reflect the dynamism and diversity of its offering.

The arrival of the new general manager of Espace Sophia, Adam Sévégny, since last November, is not far from overhauling the new image. “Espace Sophia is ready to rewrite its history by positioning itself as Quebec’s primary meeting place,” he said.

Programming 2023-2024

As for the fall-winter 2023-2024 program, it includes musical performances, such as the Canadian tour of Elvis 56 performed by John B. Carpenter’s ETA and His Band (September 30), Americana Light show by Roche Voisin (October 13). ) and a festive presentation by Jonathan Roy (October 20).

There will also be a Halloween costume party with a performance by the LBA band and DJ Alex Côté (October 28), a tribute to the Queen by the Queen Flash group (November 11) and an interpretation of the wonderful songs of Quebec folklore by the folklore group (December 7).

The program continues in winter and spring 2024 with performances by the Bleu Jeans Bleu group (January 27), Jay Scott with his acoustic guitar (February 17), comedian Eve Côté (March 2), and a tribute show to Simon, Garfunkel and Cat Stevens by the group Time Cannes (6 April).
