The House for Science in Centre-Val de Loire offers a cycle of conferences for 2023-2024, organized in Orleans-en-Tours and broadcast live on YouTube.
The first of these “sofa conferences” will be held in Orléans on December 6, at 6:30 p.m., at the Inspé d’Orléans (access via 49 quai du Roi). Research engineer Frédéric Foucher, who works at the National Center for Scientific Research in Extreme Conditions and Materials: Laboratory of High Temperature and Radiation (Cemthi) in Orléans, will talk about the search for extraterrestrial life.

The conference is free and will be broadcast live The YouTube channel of Dar Al Uloom in Center Val de LoireTwo more conferences will be organized later during 2024: 7 February in the Faculty of Science with tours by Elodie Chaillou, Inrae Research Fellow, on the topic “Animal Brain and Behavior”; And on April 17, at the Inspé d’Orléans, by Thomas Telocher, lecturer at Gremi, on the topic “Plasma and microtechnology”.
