An American has been sentenced to 30 years in prison for the sexual exploitation of Filipino minors

On Friday, American justice announced that a man had been sentenced to 30 years in prison in the United States for several years for inciting minors in the Philippines to send him sexual photos and videos.

Karl Quilter, a 58-year-old American native of Chicago, was arrested in November 2020 and a plaid coup d’etat of the dernier d’exploitation sexuelle of mines, an indication of the bureau of procureur federal district of the Nord de l’Illinois (nord des United State).

The attorney general’s office said in a statement that he was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison.

Between 2017 and 2020, the man encouraged at least nine girls in the Philippines to produce sexual images and then send them to him via online messengers.

He “took advantage of the financial hardships of the victims to assault them, sending wire transfers to the families of the victims to entice young girls to record the footage,” the statement said.

“Victim to victim, letter to letter, the defendant used social media and the Internet to target and manipulate Filipino girls,” Assistant Federal Attorney General Ashley Chung said in the sentencing note written by Carl Keelter.

She added, “It was not a one-time mistake, but several years of abuse and exploitation of minors.”
