A young Australian woman has had the culinary shock of her life after discovering a dead frog in a bag of spinach she had just bought.
Simone Baker posted a video on TikTok to share her discovery, when there was a frog between a plate of pasta and spinach she bought from Woolworths.
Woolis, the fresh food specialist, left a fresh frog in my spinach. “There’s nothing more wonderful than that,” she quipped, disgusted.
Ms Baker said she was “shocked” by the discovery.
However, many netizens did not take Ms. Baker’s adventure seriously.
“It’s a delicacy in France.”
“Can you give us the recipe? I already have the frog.”

A Woolworths spokeswoman said it was investigating the incident, the New York Post reported.
“Our supplier has performed numerous quality checks on this batch of spinach leaves and did not detect any foreign objects during processing,” the letter said.
The spokesperson adds: “We take all feedback from our customers very seriously and realize that this was an unpleasant surprise for this customer.”
