LAH: Jesse Yellowon Enjoys The Missiles At The City Of Rochester

The Laval Rocket beat the Rochester Americans with a 7-2 victory on Wednesday night.

After a quiet first period, the rocket scored three unanswered goals in the second half, First thanks to Jesse Yellonen, who has only scored one point in the last six matches. The Finnish striker finally came out of his slumber by skillfully avoiding Aaron Del’s bayonet before scoring a superb goal.

Then Tore Delo was lucky when his shot from behind the net rebounded from Dell before he fired into the net.

Then Brandon Gignac survived shorthand and beat the Rochester goalkeeper. Thus, Laval scored the twelfth goal within a short distance of a man this season, a climax in the ring.

Yelonen scored his second goal in the third half, while the others came through Rafael Harvey Benard, Devante Smith Bailey and Danic Martel.

Peter Abandonato made twice in the win.

Kevin Boleyn, AHL Player of the Month for February, saved 34 balls. He stopped his face 30 of the 37 shots aimed at the Americans’ goal.

Sean Malone and Jimmy Schuldt turned on the red light for the Buffalo Sabers Ranch Club.

This was only Rocket’s fourth win in 20 games against Rochester.

Jean-Francois Holly’s team achieved a second victory in three matches. This was the first part of the Laval team abroad since February 23.

The missile (26-19-3) outperformed the Toronto Marlis in the Northern Division ranking. The Montreal Canadiens Agricultural Club came four points behind the Americans and the second division of the division while playing six games in hand over their opponent.

Rocket will take up the collar on Friday to face Ian Laperriere’s squad, the Phantoms, in Lehigh Valley.
