Jurassic World: Hegemony: Five things to know before going to see the movie

What would summer be without ‘Jurassic World’ dinosaurs? Especially since Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum and Sam Neill are back, joining Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, and young Isabella Sermon. So what can we expect from this latest version of the new trilogy?

1 – In the movie the park and dinosaurs disappeared everywhere. Owen, Claire, and Macy live under the radar. “We give you something you want…but not what you expect,” Chris Pratt said in media interviews. “Jurassic World: Domination” is certainly set five years after “Jurassic World: The Fallen Kingdom”. The scenario follows two plots that will meet. “It’s not the traditional way to tell a story,” said co-writer and director Colin Trevorrow, before adding that the blockbuster contained elements of a “spy adventure,” with “a bit of Bourne and Bond.”

2 – Women are undoubtedly the heroines of this new chapter of the second trilogy, DeWanda Wise is newcomer, Kayla Watts, pilot. For Colin Trevorrow, it is not Chris Pratt who is the main protagonist of his trilogy, but rather Claire Dearing by director Bryce Dallas Howard. “We open every movie with her and she leads each of these stories,” said Colin Trevorrow.

3 – Biosyn employee Louis Dodgson who stole dinosaur embryos is back. This time, he is played by Campbell Scott, actor Cameron Thor who is currently serving a prison sentence for sexual assault.

4 – For Colin Trevorrow, the character of Kayla Watts is of paramount importance. “It was very important to introduce a new heroine who could define the future of the series. We had the opportunity to create someone who would inspire little girls and dress like her for Halloween for years to come.” Critics were clearly quick to blend in, with some netizens calling the film a “wake up” before even seeing it. DeWanda Wise explained, “As soon as you place a woman, a black woman, or a woman of color or color on the screen, there is automatically a subdued tone, as DeWanda Wise explained. My presence is politicized whether fans know the story or not.”

5 – “It’s really the movie I’ve been waiting to make since the beginning. It’s the one that leads us to the first two. And I think people underestimate the characters of Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum in Domination. It’s really a cohesive group and that means you can take these lovable characters for more of 30 years and understanding how they interact in a world we have yet to see.
