McDonald’s: A flour dish found in a children’s Happy Meal

A mother from Detroit, Michigan was left speechless when she saw not a children’s toy, but a knife for opening cardboard boxes in her two daughters, ages 2 and 7.

“You hear things like that, but I never thought they could really happen. The anxiety and anger that filled me — I had never felt this before. A million “What ifs?” — What if Ava (2) found him?”

Last week, the girls’ father reportedly took them to McDonald’s, when the eldest allegedly pulled a yellow plate from her meal. US media reported that there was also a pen without a cap on the knife.

Depending on what the organization can point out to the parents, this would be an error, as the box in question would be used as a “global file” for many employee objects.

“Simply saying a box of Happy Meal is a ‘grab’ and someone must have eaten it by mistake is not an answer I want,” the exasperated mum continued on Facebook.

Towards the end of May, a similar incident reportedly occurred in Brighton, Michigan when a little girl asked her mother to open her toy for her, revealing the exact same thing again.

She also wrote, “I just want other parents to be aware of watching Happy Meal boxes because my daughter gave me a box cutter that was in her box thinking it was a toy.” Kayla Almashi, according to the New York Post.

In a press release sent to WXYZ media, McDonald’s reportedly took the situation “very seriously” and opened an investigation into these incidents.
