The lovebirds recently became parents to a little girl named Khai who seems to have been in heaven since this birth, but a family incident was going to end their relationship.
While rumors claim that Zayn hit Gigi’s mother-in-law, Yolanda, facts that she herself confirms, the former One Direction star was eager to clarify things in a statement posted on her social networks.
“I am a humble person and I really want to create a private and healthy space for my daughter to grow in,” he said.
“In order to protect this space for her, I have agreed not to appeal complaints arising from an altercation between me and a member of my partner’s family.”
According to Zane, Yolanda broke into their home while Gigi was away and the singer insisted he only wanted to protect his daughter.
The former One Direction member hasn’t confirmed his split from Gigi Hadid but he hasn’t denied it either.
His Twitter post has already garnered more than 500 likes.
Currently, neither Gigi nor Yolanda has spoken publicly about this incident.
