Leon Edwards takes the K.-O. to Kamaru Usman in the fifth round and become the new welterweight champion.
While the entire UFC planet believed Kamaru Usman was seconds away from victory and his sixth title defense. Edwards surprised everyone with a kick in the head of his opponent. Then Uthman fell to the ground and Herb Din’s rule ended the fighting immediately.

However, Usman definitely didn’t enjoy the first few minutes of the fight and came back strong after that. “The Nigerian Nightmare” completely dominated Edwards in the second, third and fourth rounds with several eliminations and several minutes of control.

In the semi-finals, Brazilian Paulo Costa defeated Luke Rockhold in an unconventional unanimous decision match.
