Two Quebecers hospitalized after their boat exploded in Florida

Two Quebecers were seriously injured following the explosion of a pleasure boat in Florida.

Restaurateur Eric Luxenberg and his wife are still in hospital, two weeks after the mysterious incident.

In fact, on March 4, their boat exploded in broad daylight, for a reason that remains unknown.

The couple were in Hallandale, near Fort Lauderdale, when the explosion occurred while refueling the boat.

After hitting TVA Novels on Saturday, the couple’s two children are still in deep shock over the event. They say they are very worried about their parents.

Mr Luxenberg suffered burns to his legs, while his wife sustained burns to a larger part of her body.

Eric Luxenberg also experienced discomfort and had to be transferred to a hospital center in Florida that was different from that of his wife. They will both remain unconscious and therefore their children cannot speak to them.

A police investigation was opened to shed light on this explosion.
