Travis Parker and Kourtney Kardashian broke their silence about The Rock’s hospitalization.

Drummer Blink-182 was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday due to pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas. He confirmed the reason for his hospitalization on Instagram Stories on Saturday.

“I went for an endoscopy on Monday and I’m fine. But after dinner, I developed excruciating pain and have been in hospital ever since, he wrote. During the endoscopy, I was dislodged from a very small tumor located in a very sensitive area, which is usually handled by professionals, This unfortunately damaged the critical pancreatic drainage tube. This led to severe, life-threatening pancreatitis.”

He concluded: “I am very grateful that, thanks to the intensive treatment, my condition is now much better.”

His wife Kourtney, who was photographed on her way to the hospital with him, also opened up about the experience on her Instagram Stories.

Immediately after her husband, she wrote: “What a scary and emotional week this has been. Our health is of paramount importance, and at times we take it upon ourselves for how fast it can change. Travis and I went together for a routine endoscopy and ended up with a severe pancreatitis which life threatening.”

She thanked fans for their support, thanking God for her “husband’s recovery,” and the medical staff at Cedars-Sinai for “taking such wonderful care” of both.
