Tom Brady sets the record straight

Tom Brady has been on vacation for two weeks now. Asked if he was considering retiring, the 45-year-old quarterback made no detour.

Brady is officially free as air. In all likelihood, the loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of the playoffs was his last game as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The question now is whether he will play for a third team or immediately get the mic on Fox Sports.

on his podcast Let’s go, which aired on Monday night, co-host Jim Gray asked Brady if he had made up his mind about his future. After all, this is the question on everyone’s lips.

Without hesitation, Brady replied, “If I knew what I had to do, I would have already done it,” breaking his answer twice with English slang beginning with the same letter as the word farandole. In other words, if the seven-time Super Bowl champ made a decision, he would have announced it.

“I’m going one day at a time. Thanks for asking,” he added in conclusion.

Almost a year ago today, Brady announced his retirement before stepping back a few weeks later to sign a one-season contract with the Bucs.
