Last Sunday, several hundred young people gathered to protest against the new measures begun in Laval and Montreal.

Dozens of crimes were reported such as injury, arson, breakage, entry, and obstruction of police work. Many storefronts have been smashed, particularly with road signs. SPVM said in a press release that these bad actions caused significant financial losses for these traders.

SPVM shared two videos about the rampage that happened last Sunday and requests the cooperation of the public to identify the perpetrators of the misdeeds.

Investigators are calling anyone with information about these events, or individuals who participated in them, to call 4029-438229.

During this demonstration, the police arrested seven people and handed over a hundred tickets.
