The 30th edition of the Science Festival 2021 will take place from 5 to 22 November 2021 on the island of Mayotte. In this special edition of “30 Years” of the Science Fest, the “Passion of Discovery” is highlighted.
Discovery is the moment researchers put their finger on a new explanation, a new conclusion, or a new development of thought. The passion for discovery is also a feeling that citizens share when they encounter new themes, new stories, and new knowledge with researchers, enriching their daily lives and/or their view of the world.
Events intended for the general public or for schools can take a variety of forms: a workshop, an exhibition, a game, a conference, a meeting, a debate, a presentation, a site visit, etc., and take place in different places: a school, a reception venue, your headquarters.
Are you a representative of the scientific culture in Mayotte, do you have a project and would like to participate in this event? Nothing could be simpler, just register and contact the MYT Innovation Research Center, and you will be supported throughout the process.
All projects are submitted to the Steering Committee for approval and the “Fête de la science” label.
Obtaining a Fête de la science mark is based on the following criteria:
– the scientific, technical or industrial nature of the project,
The presence of a scientific reference specialized in the specialization that verifies the validity of the content.
– the quality of mediation that must be understandable and accessible to the general public,
The impartiality of the project, especially in the event that the topic is the subject of the current discussion,
– Free event for all audiences,
Respect the official period: from 5 to 22 November 2021.
