Departing with fanfare for the latest James Bond “Die Con Wait”. Gary Joji Fukunaka’s film topped the North American box office with $ 55.3 million, according to figures released Monday by specialty company Exhibitor Relations. “Venom: Let There Be Carnage”, produced by Sony, pocketed $ 31.8 million in the second week, ranking second with a total of 141 million in two weeks. The film tells the story of how Britain’s intelligence journalist Tom Hardy, who was given the superpower by an alien parasite, joins up with another alien parasite and tries to stop a serial killer (Woody Harrelson) from escaping from prison.
