Once not dedicated, the next Samsung smartphones are revealed an hour ago by the famous “leaker” Evan Blass. And so we discover the official designs of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4. The opportunity to learn more about these foldable models.

In these press photos, we discover the front of the two Samsung foldable phones and their different colors. It is also an opportunity to learn more about some of the technical characteristics of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4.

Few changes in Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Z Fold 4?

Looking at these first images, it is tempting to say that the new high-end smartphones from the Korean manufacturer are like two drops of water Galaxy Z Flip 3 And the Galaxy Z Fold 3. But let’s not draw too hasty conclusion and focus on these images that reveal only the front of the two devices.

The largest of them, the Z Fold 4, is said to come in three colors: black, gold/beige, and gray/blue. On one edge of the phone we can clearly see the power button with the fingerprint reader as well as the volume control buttons located on top. We also clearly see on the other edge the slot that houses the SIM card.

For its part, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 will be available in four colors: grey, purple, gold, and sky blue. We think a similar position to the power button and volume control. On the bottom edge are the USB-C connector, speaker grille, and two microphones.

Technical papers not yet confirmed

In addition to these images, previous rumors have hinted at some features of the Galaxy Z Fold 4. It will run Android 12 with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor, 12GB of RAM and four options with different storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1 terabytes.

The battery capacity and charging speed of the Z Fold 4 are unchanged compared to its predecessor (4400mAh and 25W). On the other hand, we expect a change on the camera side. In fact, Samsung could switch to a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP wide-angle sensor and a 10MP telephoto sensor for 3x optical zoom.

For the rest, we can expect the two phones to ship connectivity worthy of the 2022 high-end smartphones. We’re of course considering 5G, but also Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, and IPX8 seal certification. On the software side, they should also take advantage of some features of the Korean brand such as Samsung Pay Or the very successful Samsung DeX.
