The brave join the Astros

The Atlanta Braves and the Houston Astros will cover the costs of the 2021 World Baseball Championship. Georgia eliminated the Los Angeles Dodgers in six games of the National League on Saturday at Troist Park, with a final 4-2 victory.

The Braves have reached this stage of the Major League Baseball Playoffs for the tenth time in their history. The last time was in 1999. They won it three times, the last one was in 1995.

Eddie Rosario was the hero of the brave. The Dodgers had already scored the first two hits of the fourth inning when the Puerto Rican appeared on the board, with two teammates, Travis D’Arno and Ihir Adrianza, on the tracks. Then one of the bowler’s shows sent Walker Bowler out of bounds, provoking crowd hysteria.

Back in Buehler, the gunner who leaves the visitors no doubt would like a better sortie. In four rounds of action, he allowed four rounds on seven strokes and three walks. He also spent six opponents in the gauntlet before falling back into the locker room.

Austin Riley, using a weakness in the first half, produced the other run at Buehler’s expense.

In the winning camp, Ian Anderson allowed one of the Dodgers’ rounds—Cody Bellinger’s fourth-stroke single—with three hits and a walk. Like Buehler, he retired after four rounds of business. He had time to blow dust on four rackets.

Loyals AJ Minter and Tyler Matzek also handcuffed the Dodgers, who each had four hits in two rounds on the hill. It was Will Smith who finished the debate, in the ninth round, by passing in gauntlet two of the three opponents who presented themselves in front of him.
