The BBC receives recorded complaints for covering up the death of Prince Philip

Never seen. The British Public Broadcasting Corporation announced on Thursday, April 15, the BBC that it had received nearly 110,000 complaints, criticizing the elaboration of Prince Philip’s death. The committee on Friday intercepted all its plans to announce the 99-year-old death of Queen Elizabeth II’s husband.

After receiving a large number of complaints, the BBC has already launched a series of reviews and opened a special form to collect them. “Some visitors are unhappy with the amount of coverage provided and the consequences of planned projects”.

Through their special editions, British televisions experienced a significant drop in viewership compared to their regular shows. The first BBC channel had to cancel the final broadcast of the MasterKef cooking competition.

The BBC’s coverage of the deaths of members of the royal family follows procedures prepared many years ago. They were created in times when the media landscape was very different and very few channels were available.
