After launching the iMac 24″ and its M1 chip last April, Apple will unveil the iMac Pro with M1 Pro and M1 Max chips next spring, leaker says Tweet embed Which has a very good history. Apple’s new high-end all-in-one may adopt the Pro suffix to reflect its more professional orientation, but that’s not certain at the moment.
There will be, however, multiple items taken straight from the 2021 MacBook Pro: a Mini-LED panel with ProMotion technology, black screen borders, 16GB of RAM and at least 512GB of storage, not to mention an SD card reader and HDMI port. Ethernet will be included as standard in the power supply. Face ID integration could have been tested, but the leaker doesn’t know if this solution was finally adopted by Apple.

The overall design will be similar to that of the 24-inch model, perhaps with some tweaks to improve heat dissipation for the Apple M1 Pro and M1 Max chips, and a richer touch integration: Thickness is expected. Finally, the base model will be priced more than $2,000, instead of the $1,799 for the current 27-inch models.
