Series: Our 23 Expert Predictions for Round Two

Series: Our 23 Expert Predictions for Round Two

Let’s be honest: The first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs was a lot of fun.

Of the eight that were presented, five were decided during the seventh and final match. And to see the duels coming in the second round, we can once again expect a lot of excitement (Lightning-Panthers, Rangers-Hurricanes, Blues-Avalanche, Oilers-Flames).

Furthermore, this second round begins this evening on our airwaves and our 23 experts took the opportunity to make their predictions (see bottom of the text).

In large quantities

Overall, it’s the Panthers-Lightning series that promises to be the shortest according to our analysts. 16 of them prefer Florida and seven lean towards Tampa Bay. Exactly, 16 out of the 23 experts believe the series will end with seven matches

For the series between Carolina and New York, only four players see New York win.

Conversely, 19 of our 23 experts believe the Flames will win the Battle of Alberta against the Oilers.

Regarding the Colorado St. Lewis, 22 of our 23 analysts (!), believes Avalanche will win and advance to the third round. Only Dennis Casavante thinks the blues will cause discomfort!

Note that during the first round, Felix Seguin was the only one who saw his eight predictions come true.

Guillaume Latendresse, Michel Bergeron, Sebastien Goulet, Alain Chainey and Pascal Leclaire got seven out of eight good predictions.
