For André Crocq, Vice President of Rennes Métropole, “The ambition is to make this heritage-important building a cultural facility, open to all, thought out and imagined with syndicate actors.”
He adds, “The renovation of the old prison will be part of a citizen-participatory approach. A working group made up of urban councilors from each elected group will meet soon, bringing together delegates from the city of Rennes, to release the first ideas about the uses of this new place.”
As the project is in the study phase, no date has been set for the first meeting of this working group.
