Prime Minister Trudeau reiterated Canada’s opposition to unilateral measures that prejudge the outcome of direct negotiations or jeopardize the prospects for peace. He affirmed that Canada stands ready to support efforts to promote lasting peace, security and prosperity.
Prime Minister Trudeau celebrated Minister Garneau’s upcoming visit to the region and the two Prime Ministers expressed their enthusiasm to work together to strengthen relations between their countries.
