Open day at Espace Solidere

The Solidarity space, which opened its doors at the end of last year in Ussens County, aims to be a true living space for all Palarucoa residents. The rehabilitation of the building, which housed, among other things, the annex town hall, made it possible to equip both floors, reception areas for communal workshops, communal kitchen, offices, as well as a social grocery store and storage spaces.

This self-service grocery store, as in the classic one, offers fresh produce, a wide selection of fruits and vegetables, as well as hygiene products, children’s products and a beauty section. But the mission of Solidarity Space is also to host various activities and other thematic actions that have been set up today by CCAS, such as the culinary workshop. With always wanting to promote intergenerational social diversity through these events.

To allow everyone to discover the wide range of activities and workshops that are regularly offered there, an open day is organized Friday 20 May with the program: From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. yoga begins (maximum eight participants); 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. cylinder cooking workshop; From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Thau’Hu Bohu Amateur Theater Association will show some drawings; From 12 noon to 1 pm, cold buffet to share with participants; 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m., two introductory sessions in Sophology with La Source (maximum eight people per session); From 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, a continuation of the cooking workshop.
