NHL: Season 4 100 points for Leon Drystel

Edmonton Oilers forward Leon Dricetel scored twice to reach 100 points on Tuesday in a 6-3 win over the Ottawa Senators.

Draisaitl scored his 43rd and 44th goals of the season. It is the fourth time in his career that he has scored at least 100 points in a season. He also did so last year when he scored a personal best with 110 points.

Tim Stötzl also scored twice, but in the loss, he scored significantly less than a man during a 2-on-1 run with Dylan Gambrell. Brady Tkachuk was the leading scorer for the other Suns.

This defeat, the third in a row after being defeated by the Canucks and the Flames, still hurt the Canadian club badly in the fight for the playoffs. He is still six points behind the New York Islanders, the last team drafted, but has a game in hand.

Both teams played table tennis in the first half. Derek Ryan broke the ice after just 2:20 for the Oilers, then Tkachuk tied it up on the power play. Draisailt restored the lead to the stewards, but Stützle, in turn, equalized.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins finally broke the deadlock in the second period to improve on his career best season with 82 points. Nick Begstad also hit the target, while Conor McDavid, also the author of the pass, completed it all into an empty net. Stuart Skinner made 29 saves.
