These new versions will be developed on Remedy’s engine, the Northlight Game Engine. This same engine was also used by the studio to create games like Control in 2019 or the new Alan Wake 2 yet to come.
The team is excited to bring the story, action, and atmosphere of the original Max Payne games to players in a new way.Fertala adds.
The project appears to be a complete rework because it will be developed on Remedy’s latest engine for new generations of consoles and PCs and will receive triple A funding. It is not yet clear if the two versions will be available. In one game, or whether it is necessary to have two different games to run the two versions.
