Like many fans, on the evening of July 21, 2021, I was sitting in front of the TV watching the first round of the National Hockey League’s amateur draft. The Canadian then had the 31st choice overall, after losing the Stanley Cup Final to Tampa Bay Lightning a few weeks earlier.
However, the catch is that I grew around 26 or 27 in the first round. The next day, I woke up to a bunch of text messages from my boyfriends And I immediately saw the havoc that Logan Maillo’s first-round pick made, despite the fact that he reiterated that he didn’t want to be drafted because you know what.
I don’t think I need to remind you of the details of this story.
Since that time, the main interested party has come a long way. He worked on himself to become a better person and made great progress there.
At least, that’s what we understood when Rob Ramage confirmed that Milo deserved his place in the rookie camp that took place in July, having “done the work of making the opportunity”.

Logan Mailloux appears to be on the right track and CH seems to back him on all this. In the end, this is excellent news. But what does it look like on the ice?
Milo injured his shoulder in a fight on March 6, having played only 12 games in the OHL. In the previous year, he played only 19 matches in Sweden …
31 games in two years is not a lot. Especially when it comes to a young defensive man trying to grow in order to break into the best hockey league on the planet. We know it has tremendous potential, but this potential must be developed in play matches. Obviously, that hasn’t been the case lately.
CH’s controversial hope has lagged behind the others and may have appeared during rookie camp. Here’s what Nicolas Cloutier, journalist at TVA Sport, had to say about him:
“I understand that there are not many defenders of this size, with individual skills like this. I agree that his athletic qualities are great, but brother… he is scattered on the rink, Logan Maillo! – Nicolas Cloutier
Comments made by the journalist during Yesterday’s show from La Centrale Du Sport on 91.9 Sports, hosted by colleague Maxime Trumanare interesting.
Nicola wanted to clarify everything on Twitter:
To make my point: Mailloux’s potential intrigues me, but I do find certain exaggerated comparisons to surface, particularly those with Brent Burns.
And the sample is too small to carry away now in my opinion.

Because yes, we talked about Logan Mailloux last year. But it was his off-ice activities that got the most attention.
We know the youngster’s plan is to bring him back to the juniors this year, where he should dominate in his 19-year-old. Note that it will extinguish 20 candles in April 2023.
It is clearly too early to comment on the youngster’s future given the small sample we have regarding his recent performance. We’ll know more by this time next year, when the defender was supposed to play a full season for the first time in a very long time.
That is if all goes well, of course. Let’s keep a close eye on it over the next few months.
Also note that the TVA Sports journalist is very fond of the potential of Sean Farrell, who sees him as likely to be in the top 6 in Montreal if all goes well.
Many of
Kane and Toews are expected to be on the Hawks roster for their first match this year.
The rebuilding of the Chicago Blackhawks’ roster made franchise stars Patrick Kane and Jonathan Toews the subject of commercial gossip this summer. However, we shouldn’t be surprised if both are in the lineup when the Falcons open their season.
