The Gérond’if, headed by Olivier Hanon, aims to bring together players working in the fields of geriatrics and gerontology in Ile-de-France in order to promote research, innovation, industrial development and training in the Ile-de-France region.

The project supported by the Foundation is to help older people, their families and professional caregivers discover, test and evaluate “geriatric technologies” from the Mobile Living Laboratory in Gérond’if, in order to – ultimately, issue scientists’ recommendations and evidence for transforming and adapting them.

Gérond’if has all the skills to enhance the study and mastery of an entire course
Researching and developing projects, obtaining the opinions of the competent authorities, implementing operations, managing data in accordance with regulations, statistical analysis, drafting activity reports, and publishing results in specialized scientific journals.

These winners will be selected for their innovative and tangible character in serving aging well, and these winners will benefit from financial support and support from the Foundation. All applications received were evaluated by the Foundation’s Board of Directors according to various criteria: relevance, impact, reproducibility, feasibility, and timeliness of implementation.

In addition to financial support (a total envelope of €200,000 has been allocated for these 9 projects), the La Mutuelle Générale Corporate Foundation will remain mobilized alongside the project leaders to support them and contribute to the appropriate development of their initiatives.
