La Capitale-Nationale still has fewer than 10 cases per day

The number of COVID-19 cases continues to decline in the Capitale-Nationale region which, for the third day in a row, has added fewer than 10 cases to its balance sheet.

In the report updated Saturday, Capital National had 6 new infections, one less than the day before. In the past seven days, two deaths have been reported in the area. In total, 32,693 infections were counted in the province, with 1,111 deaths.

In Chaudière-Appalaches, the number of cases has also decreased in the past 24 hours, from 20 to 12 new cases, according to Saturday’s report. In the past seven days, there have been four deaths for a total of 357 people who lost their battle with COVID-19.

The number of cases continues to decline in Bas Saint Laurent with only one new case in 24 hours and no deaths in the past seven days.

Hospital treatment decreased

In the Capitale-Nationale region and in Chaudière-Appalaches, hospitalizations also decreased (-1 and -3, respectively), with 14 and 16 people hospitalized. In Bas-Saint-Laurent, no new admissions to hospital have been recorded in the past 24 hours (3).
