Juraj Slafkovsky has gained about ten pounds since development camp

When we talk about a big player, we often think, among optimists, of Arber Xhekaj. The young defender is a gentleman by his stature and obviously I don’t want to hurt him.

I saw him play three to three this summer. Even though I was on the other side of the bay window and was not allowed to knock, I was still frightened when he came to my corner. He is a big man.

All this to say is big, but that allows us to keep in mind how imposing Juraj Slafkovsky is as well.

After all, Slave is six feet three (listed at 6’4 by the NHL, but since development camp CH puts him at 6’3), but he weighs (238 pounds) as much as Xhekaj. They have basically the same shape.

Moreover, Logan Mailloux is not small either.

The Canadian, who always measured Slough at 6’3, weighed in at 227 pounds at development camp in July. This means that he gained 11 pounds two months ago.

We all know how important boot camp (and beginner camp) is to him. Seeing that his summer training allowed him to gain weight in this way is good news.
