This is a condition that should be absolutely monitored. The problem is this: The Canadians can’t keep six defensive men just to keep Slavkowski in Montreal. I doubt we put Michael Pesetta in concessions because there would be a chance of him losing. The only striker you can send to the MLS is Slavkowski. He knows he has to step up his game to find a way to stay in the squad. Could he end up in Laval? Nobody is saying that this will not happen. On the other hand, I don’t think it will be long.

“If there are no injuries by the time Joel Jeremiah returns, in a week or two, what decision will Jeff Gorton and Kent Hughes make? Important decisions have to be made and they will have an impact on someone. Watch this file, and it’s very intriguing.” We’ll see. His column also references the change made by Slafkovsky, who trained on a fully covered paddle with tape on Tuesday and had little to no so far. The topic caused a stir in the organization.
