The property, owned by Guy Drouin, founder of Village Vacances Valcartier, located in Lac Saint-Joseph, is up for sale this morning for a modest $3,950,000.
The property, which looks like a real little castle, is still occupied by the wife of Mr. Drouin, who died in 2017.
The frontage of the property is 113 m on the lake.
He himself designed and produced the “special style” residence plans, according to real estate broker Michel Liszot.
In his opinion, the dwelling will attract the attention of buyers, as it has “the most beautiful and largest area around the lake,” according to Mr. Liszot. The land actually, has an area of 115,000 square feet.
The moderator says, “With the porch and the sunset, it is extraordinary. There is a beautiful garden with a fountain all around the house, a waterfall going down into the lake and the boat going down, it is a very beautiful location.”

The house has about twenty rooms, including five bedrooms, three living rooms, three bathrooms, and a reception room at lake level.
It also has a frontage of 370 feet that provides a view of the body of water, and is the largest frontage on the shore of Lake St. Joseph.
With its unique characteristics, the broker estimates that the place of residence must find a buyer very quickly.
♦ The property is officially for sale today.
