Hyundai | The next stylish Kona has been revealed

In keeping with its design-focused positioning, Hyundai introduced the new generation of the Kona compact SUV with a completely redesigned body. From the outset very interesting visually, it promises traditional petrol, hybrid and electric mechanics to add chords to its arc.

Hyundai claims that the Kona’s design is largely inspired by its electrical component. Its horizontal lines, which act as headlights and taillights, are appropriately reminiscent of the Ioniq 7 model study, a midsize electric SUV. It also grows slightly in terms of wheelbase (60 mm), length (150 mm) and width (25 mm).

What is interesting in the information provided by Hyundai is above all the reverse technical approach that the Korean manufacturer applies in its case.

Its platform is said to have been originally designed to run on electricity and modified for combustion engines.

Thus, electrical cladding promises to be more efficient than the one it replaces. Unfortunately, we don’t have numbers to put in our mouths, about the engines, be it petrol, hybrid or electric.

The interior design, for its part, seems very much inspired by the Ioniq 5 electric crossover with its horizontality and split-screen multimedia with digital instruments. There is also a flat floor in the back for the comfort of the passengers.

However, we will have to wait a bit to analyze the technical data and get an idea of its marketing schedule.
