Hooper’s big comeback, Skelton recalls… Australia’s line-up for autumn tour released

Fifteen of the world of zapping Shield of Brenes, XV of the Rose, World Cup 2023…

The traditional autumn tour begins in three weeks from now. With this important international deadline less than a year away from the World Cup, Australian coach Dave Rennie released his 36-man squad this Sunday. A roster marked by the return of State Rosellois’ Will Skelton’s second line and third line of picks: Michael Hooper (121 picks). The latter opted out of the last edition of the Rugby Championship to protect his mental health. However, the captain’s armband prop will be on James Slipper’s arm.

“It’s very good news for the team. We want him to focus on himself at the moment. His role is to come back and play.” Dave Rennie said.

A reminder that Australia will face Scotland, France, Italy, Ireland and Wales during this tour. A tour that will act as a real test for the Wallabies after a disappointing Rugby Championship that saw them finish 3rd.
