Gayle Monfils won her first trophy in Adelaide, Australia, almost two years ago, at the loss of Russia’s Karen Kachchano, the 29th player in the world. Eight days before the Australian Open, to be held from January 17 to 30, they won a straight set 6-4, 6-4 on Sunday.
The 35-year-old Gale Manfils, the 21st player in the world, did not win the title after the Rotterdam tournament in the Netherlands in February 2020, before the Kovit-19 epidemic.

This is the 11th title in the life of the France No. 1 player.
