The first edition of the Fuego Fuego Latin Music Festival takes place on Saturday in the Esplanade of the Olympic Park.

Many festival-goers are here to attend this great festival. Superstars like Nicky Jam and Farruko are on the evening show.
Olivier Primo, promoter of the festival, explains the enthusiasm behind Latin music in Quebec.
“I knew Latin music sold well, because it sold well at the Beach Club. At full capacity today, it’s unusual. With enthusiasm on social networks, it’s shared quickly. Plus, the Latin community in Montreal is huge. Nice to see ,” he explains.
One of the festival goers even came from France to attend the first edition of the event.
“I came because there are artists I love in the lineup,” she said.

Last May, surreal scenes emerged on social media, with festival-goers seen climbing onto the roof of the Olympic stadium. The organizers stress that security has improved.
“We have improved a lot. We worked on plans with SPVM and the firefighters. We are ready, and it will go well,” confirms Olivier Primo.
