The Rocky Hill, Connecticut Police Department has released footage of an attempted carjacking that was thwarted thanks to the bravery of the car owner.
On April 10, in the early evening, a group of robbers stopped in front of a house. One of them quickly approached a car parked in the driveway and sat in the driver’s seat.
However, the thief did not have time to complete his crime, as the owner of the car threw himself at him and forced him to get out of the car.
A violent struggle ensues between the two men, and then the thief’s three accomplices arrive.
They tried to neutralize the owner of the car by kicking, punching and even hitting him with a shoe.
The fight, which lasted about a minute, ended when a woman threatened to call the police. The four thugs immediately fled.
An investigation has been opened by the Rocky Hill Police.
