Éloi breaks the silence and says what he thought of getting rid of Audrey-Louise at Star Académie

The least we can say is that last week was a controversial one at the Star Académie.

Endangering candidates Eloy, Audrey Luiz and Kristel caused a lot of backlash… Last Sunday’s disqualification of Audrey Luiz led to even more backlash.

Many are dissatisfied with the teachers of Star Academy and Even the insults went too far towards Lara Fabian.

Eloy, the candidate who won the votes of the audience in this controversial ceremony, broke the silence in the past hours.

He talked about the elimination of Audrey Luiz as well as all the controversy that was associated with him in spite of himself…

Here is what he told 7 Days Magazine:

“It was really a crazy night. I didn’t necessarily think of such a scenario. I was hoping to get an audience vote, but I wasn’t sure it would. I am happy to be staying at the academy and being able to continue such good learning.”

Then he talked about the fact that he got the audience vote while the other two candidates were very strong and very popular with the audience… we can see that he was very impressed!

Here is what he said:

“They both have incredible voices and I quickly realized I had to get started, otherwise it was impossible. I definitely don’t have the voice of these two artists. Then I told myself I had to stand out in my own way. I decided to work even harder and go with a song that represented me and talked about The part of the country I live in. I wanted to find a song near me”

This work and song selection is paying off! It’s nothing that you get the audience vote while the other two candidates were pretty strong too!
