Detox recipes have been popular for a few years now. Consisting primarily of fruits and vegetables, this is an excellent way to replenish vitamins and antioxidants and purify your body. Flavie Flament welcomes registered dietician and nutritionist, Solveig Darrigo-Dartinet, and brings you two of her favorite “detox” recipes.

Here is the recipe for cabbage with sesame sauce (for 6 persons):

preparation time : 15 minutes.

ingredients :
– 1 red apple tart

– 300 grams of cabbage mixture (white, red)

Sauce:

– 1 tbsp. 1 tablespoon (30 g) of white miso (shiro miso, Daneval variety, from The Organic Store)

– 2 tbsp. tablespoons of unpasteurized apple cider vinegar (Les Coteaux Nantais, organic store)

– 3 tablespoons. Sesame oil

– 1 tbsp. A teaspoon of roasted sesame

– 1 tbsp. One tablespoon of freshly chopped coriander

– Freshly ground pepper

Variables:

Replace the toasted sesame with crushed walnuts and the sesame oil with walnut oil. Red cabbage can be replaced with raw beets.

to prepare :

Finely grate the cabbage.

– Wash the apple and cut it in half, core and chop (with the skin). Add to the salad bowl.

Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl.

Add it to the vegetable mixture and mix.

Divide it into butterflies and put it in the fridge until ready to serve.

Detox juice

To drink:
– 1 small organic beetroot (180 g)
1 small bunch of seedless red grapes (180g)
One piece of fresh ginger, 1 cm long
– 1 cm of fresh turmeric
– 1 sprig of fresh mint

to prepare :
– Grease the beetroot and cut its ends.
– Cut it into pieces.
– Wash the grapes and peel the clusters.
Brush and pieces of ginger and turmeric.
Wash and dry the mint sprig, then remove its leaves.
– Install the juicer and place its cup to collect the juice, and a bowl to collect the pulp.
Start at speed 6 and start by introducing the beetroot, then the mint, the roots and the grapes.
Pour the juice from the cup into a glass and serve it directly.
