Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Conor McGregor was reassuring about his health.

Recall that last July, the 33-year-old broke his ankle during his clash against Dustin Poirier. He underwent surgery a few days after his loss at UFC 264.

“Honestly, I feel like I can kick a penalty now, but I just have to listen to the doctors, listen to the people who are guiding me,” McGregor told TMZ Sports. This is what I’ve done so far. I focus on my mission and get back on my feet. It’s so good to be back.”

However, the Irishman admitted that the injury was tough on him mentally.

“I was upset for a while. This wasn’t easy. There were ups and downs about it. This is probably one of the craziest things that has ever happened to me in my life.”

MacGregor also wanted to reassure his supporters and indicated that he intended to return to the appraiser.

“I will come back! If you think broken bones will stop me, think again!” announced the person who plans to return in 2022.
