Montreal Canadiens announced personnel changes in the team’s video department on Monday.
A page turns from history, after 25 seasons with the team as a video service coach, Mario Leblanc announced to team management that he is retiring from the position and his responsibilities full time. He will remain involved in the organization, working mainly in the field of hockey development.
Daniel Harvey has been promoted to Video Division Coach. Last season, Harvey held the same position with Laval Roquet on Jean-Francois Houle’s coaching staff.
“On behalf of the entire organization, I would like to thank Mario for all of his loyal years of service to Canadians,” General Manager Kent Hughes said in a statement. Working behind the scenes for over 25 years, Mario has played a major role in the coaching staff. At the same time I would like to congratulate Daniel on his arrival in the team. »
Boisvert and Auditte contracts renewal
Additionally, our colleague Stéphane Leroux confirmed that the contracts of recruiters Serge Boisvert and Donald Audette have been renewed. These will be two-year contracts, with an option year.
In the wake of everything that happened with #CH Can this go unnoticed?
I can confirm here that recruiters Serge Boasvert and Donald Audet have had their contracts renewed by the team’s new management (two years plus an optional year)

Boisvert has been with the Canadiens since the 2009-10 season and has been a scout since the 2010-11 season. For his part, Audette has been the recruiter with CH since 2012-2013.
As a player, Boisvert wore the Canadian uniform for 24 games between 1984 and 1988. Audette also represented the Habs as a player between 2001 and 2004.
