The new album “Love Again” is the soundtrack to the movie of the same name and features five new songs in addition to the old ones. It will be released on May 12, coinciding with the movie’s release in Canadian theaters.

This is the first album since 2019’s “Courage” by the Quebec star, who also appears on the label of this romantic comedy.

“I had so much fun making this film. Having the privilege of appearing alongside talented actors Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Sam Heughan in my first feature film is a gift I will cherish forever,” Celine Dion said in a statement.

“I think it’s a great, heart-touching story, and I hope people and the new songs will like it,” the singer added.

In a nearly five-minute video released in December, Celine Dion, looking so moved, announced the postponement of the European dates of her tour and told of suffering from “health problems for a long time.”

“I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological disease, called in English Stiff person syndrome (stiff person syndrome),” she explains.

This disorder, which is characterized particularly by progressive muscular rigidity, causes Celine Dion to have difficulty walking and prevents her from “using the vocal cords” as she would like.

She continues, “We do not yet know everything about this rare disease, but we now know that it is the cause of the muscle spasms that I suffer from.”

Her tour, titled “Courage World Tour”, began in 2019 and the singer gave the first 52 concerts before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in early 2020. Then the star announced that she had canceled North America on this tour because of her health problems.
