This was one of Snapchat’s most frequent fan requests: the ability to change usernames. The proposed update since February 23 finally allows this modification.
when installing snap chat On your smartphone, you must specify the username. Unfortunately, once selected, it is impossible to change it according to one’s mood or simply no longer appears with the funny account name created at the beginning of the application. Snapchat has finally listened to its users, and since February 23, with the 18.104.22.168 update, it’s now possible to edit the username… with some limitations, though. First, you can only make the change once a year. It’s better than nothing, but in terms of flexibility, we’ve seen better. After that, you will not be able to choose a username that you used in the past. Finally, it looks like the previous usernames are lost forever. It would be impossible for your contacts to find you if they only had this information.
