A member of the National Bank’s management team is preparing to leave Quebec’s financial institution.
The bank announced Thursday that Martin Gagnon, Co-Chairman and Co-Chief Executive Officer of the National Financial Bank, as well as Executive Vice President responsible for wealth management, will retire in two months.
Responsibility for wealth management activities includes, in particular, full-service stock brokerage services, high value client services, fiduciary services, third party clearing services, as well as design and distribution of wealth management products. Self-managed brokerage solutions.
Pending the appointment of a successor, Dennis Girouard, Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Financial Markets, will provide interim wealth management.
Senior Executive Vice President and Co-Head of Financial Markets, Etienne Dubuque, will now single-handedly assume this role. Etienne Dubuque joined the bank’s management team last November.
