Bourg de Peggy. Espace France Services is home to the Community Center for Social Work

On the morning of Wednesday 19 April, Mayor Nathalie Neeson opened, by cutting the tricolor ribbon, in front of the French Service Space (EFS) building, the place that now hosts the Municipal Center for Social Work.

The site, which opened in January 2022, in the city center, was intended to support the Peageois in all their administrative measures and to fight the digital divide. Over time, many organizations have established their offices there. With the arrival of CCAS, 88 Grand’rue Jean-Jaurès, with its freshly painted facade, has become a real one-stop shop for general services in Bourg-de-Péage.

Reception (digital support, social assistance, disability, health, elderly, etc.) takes place on the ground floor. The floors house the administrative offices. The last work to be done, prior to the arrival of CCAS, redevelopment of the building on the upper floor and brush work on the façade amounted to €55,540.
