CIUSSS is changing its attack plans over the weekend after the government announced that it will introduce second doses to people who have received AstraZeneca. The interval between the two doses was reduced from 12 to 8 weeks on Thursday.

This means that people vaccinated before April 3 will be able to benefit from an additional 8,000 doses that will be received Friday morning and immediately redistributed without an appointment between Saturday and Tuesday.

Everything will run on a “first come, first served” basis, determining the administration of the vaccination campaign, until the doses are consumed.
